M&M TIMBER GAZEBO FEATURED IN THE DISCOVERY ZONE AT CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW
This year Chelsea Flower Show featured a Discovery Zone, which offered visitors the chance to get up close and personal with a wide variety of educational exhibits displayed in the Great Pavilion.
The garden industry exhibit spearheaded by the HTA at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show was titled ‘The Great Escape, highlighting some of the ways in which people of all ages enjoy their outdoor space – for relaxing, growing, playing, engaging with nature with supporting information about the benefits that this brings.
M&M Timber was delighted to manufacture and supply, through Forest Garden, one of their new round timber Hexagonal Garden Gazebos. The 3m gazebo, featuring a timber cladded roof, are handmade at the Worcestershire sawmill using kiln dried Radiata pine, pressure treated, sanded and come with a range of accessories from seating to soft furnishings.
The exhibit designed by horticulturalist and broadcaster Chris Collins and built by JWL Landscapes, highlighted the benefits of being outside and different ways to enjoy the garden. The garden featured four zones – The Orb Den, the Urban Garden, the Outdoor Gym and the Gazebo. It showed the real benefits that outdoors brings from an educational, health and wellbeing perspective.
Outdoor spaces can be enjoyable, relaxing and fun for all ages and with National Children’s Gardening Week taking place between 26 May – 3 June the exhibit showcased how to engage young people in outdoor projects.
The gazebos manufactured and supplied by M&M Timber are the perfect solution for an alternative outdoor covered space whether it is at a school, park, forest, countryside centre or sports club.
