“Outstanding!” That’s the definitive, single word answer you get from Somerset fencing contractor Edward Hillman when you ask him about Protech.
Edward, who set up on his own around two decades ago, purchased his second Protech post knocker last summer at the Malvern Show and he’s pleased as punch with it.
He explained: “I bought my first machine six years ago, a PS500. It’s a big beast but it gets the job done on the testing terrain around the Quantock Hills and further afield around the South West.
“Adding a second machine, with added auger attachment, considerably increases the speed and quality of the output for our customers,” added Edward who works alongside his son Tom on agricultural and equestrian fencing contracts across the South West from their base at Cockwood near Bridgwater and close to the Hinkley Point power station where Edward’s been carrying out fencing and groundworks.
Edward is also keen to praise the after sales service offered by Protech: “They are good lads. Whenever there is a problem they are straight on to it and sort it out quickly.
“That’s vital because this is a brilliant piece of kit that we want to be using as much as possible. It makes this fencing life far easier and allows us to keep moving forward!” he concluded.
