TRUGUARD – ANY COLOUR YOU LIKE!

Righton Blackburns, the manufacturer of TruGuard, has reported very strong growth in enquiries and sales since the business relocated manufacturing from a site in Kent to Kingswinford, in the West Midlands.

Neil Hall, National Business Development Manager with Righton Blackburns comments:

“After moving production, we needed to prove to ourselves that TruGuard had a market and we have certainly shown that to be the case – sales have increased in the region of 20 per cent and the level of enquiries is very encouraging indeed”.

“The planned move from the south of England to a larger manufacturing and distribution centre in the Midlands gives us and our customers a number of benefits including greater logistical flexibility, with in-stock items delivered efficiently and speedily”.

“Customers have welcomed the option of ordering direct from the manufacturer and our capability of being able to produce TruGuard in a selection of colours to match corporate colour schemes is proving very popular”.

“Whilst natural, mill finish (silver) was thought by end users as the only option in the past, TruGuard can now also be specified in a range of bright, powder-coated finishes to match a building’s overall colour scheme and thus, be less visually intrusive, whilst still providing an effective deterrent”.

Manufactured from high-grade aluminium alloy and supplied on 2-metre shafts, TruGuard is a rotating, anti-climb security system that can be used on perimeters as low as 1.8metres high and thus complies with the Owners Liability Act of 1984 and the Highways Act 1980 Part IX 164(1) which refer to the power of the Highway Authority or Local Authority to require the removal of barbed wire.

The use of other preventive systems, such as barbed wire and razor tape is prohibited at heights lower than 2.4m, making TruGuard the logical choice for such situations and, given the option of colour co- ordination, makes a more attractive alternative to traditional systems.
