As one of the main sponsors of the Driffield Show, Hampton Steel were once again pleased to support the competition with Hampton Steel fencing products including Hampton NET™ fixed knot fencing. A gruelling four hours saw Dan Critchlow Fencing take third place with Simon Gibbs and John Morgan as runners up and, 2016 winners, MJ Evans Fencing once again come out on top as the 2017 Fencing champions.
‘This, as every year, was a tough competition but M.J. Evans Fencing, with their impeccable attention to detail, came through again to lift the trophy. The Driffield Show is always a key date on our show calendar and a valuable opportunity to meet some of our most valued Northern distributors and showcase our growing product range to some great prospective customers. Our thanks to Simone Gallon and Ben Walton at Fencing and Landscaping News for a seamless and successful competition, to David Tite and his team at Driffield for another exceptional show and Calders and Grandidge, our fellow main sponsors, for supplying the high quality timber for the competition” Said Peter Matten, Sales Director at Hampton Steel Ltd.
The Hampton sales team now look to September for their next shows; the Confor Woodland Exhibition at Longleat on the 7th and 8th of September then over the seas to County Offaly, Eire for the National Ploughing Championships. With almost 2 million square feet of trade space and 283,000 visitors, this is a huge machinery and livestock exhibition across 3 days; 19th to the 21st September.
Visitors to the Hampton stand will be able to see Hampton’s extensive range of steel fencing products including the recently launched Hampton Metal Strainer Systems. Incorporating box and angle strainer options, users of the new Hampton metal strainer systems can benefit from the superior durability and versatility of these ingenious metal designs.
The Hampton Metal Strainer System is easy to assemble and quick to install providing a hassle free option that will last in excess of thirty years in normal conditions. The Hampton designed and patented, stainless steel strut connector, makes a change in the fence direction simple. Furthermore, ANY direction of the fence line can be achieved and multiple struts can be attached to any Hampton strainer post.
The versatility of these innovative new strainer systems is impressive; the strainer posts are offered in various lengths suitable for fence heights up to 2.6 metres high. Bolts can be placed in the pre-drilled bolt holes on the posts to help ensure the fence does not lift under tension across undulating terrain.
Combined with Hampton’s intermediate metal post system, StapleloK, customers can be assured of a fully integrated metal post system that delivers on all counts; quality, strength, versatility and durability.
