21st Century Fencing arena sponsored and organised by McVeigh Parker was launched at this year’s APF Forestry and Fencing show. The aim of the arena was to physically demonstrate the latest and future innovations in both machinery and products that are used in the fencing industry.

There were live demonstrations by Jock Bryce of Bryce Suma, with his tractor mounted and track machine post drivers, Protech remote control track machine and Wrag track machines. Potential users could compare the alternatives in one arena.

McVeigh Parker held Clipex demonstrations as well as a speed fencing competition for willing competitors, 30mtr of fencing was erected using the latest Clipex all steel posts, X fence premium wire netting joined using gripple T clips and joiners, combined with a traditional tie off one end. Results of speed competition • 1st Richard Berry of RHAB contractors with team mate John Morgan of Morgan Fencing – Winning time 20:20 • 2nd – Ed & Andy of James Hill Fencing – time 27.34 • 3rd – Charlie Wright and Wayne Hammond of Front Row fencing 31.18

Stuart Mills of McVeigh Parker said “Although the weather was against us a bit it was great to see like-minded people in one location discussing their projects and issues, they were able to speak to the designers and manufacturers and get hands on with the products. For us just demonstrating the simplicity of the Clipex fencing system and highlighting the X fence premium wire netting properties was great, we could visually and physically demonstrate not only the speed, but the effectiveness of this system. It was a great inaugural event, we have taken on board comments and ideas from visitors and can only see it growing from here”

McVeigh Parker also demonstrated the KMR gas/battery nailer and stapler, Gallagher electric fencing solar products and their new Clipex StaYfast box strainer.

APF special offers flyer can be viewed on line where you can also watch video on line of MP sales staff erecting Clipex and only gripples. https://mcveighparker.com/axingprices
