The Fencing & Landscaping News Golf Day was another great success this year. We played once again on the Derby course at the Belfry Golf Club.
We would like to thank all the players who turned out to take part in the individual stableford competition. Once again the weather didn’t disappoint us and stayed dry all day.
Congratulations to Lee Christie of Koppers, who claimed first prize with a score of 43 points, well done to John Gabbat of Arnold Laver with a score of 38 points just pipping Mark Wilson of Kingspan into second place by one point.
There were two other prizes up for grabs on the day with John Freeman of Forest Products scooping the nearest the pin and the other prize of the longest drive went to Lee Christie of Koppers.
We would like to thank Phil Emsley once again for helping out with the scores and Andy Hodge of Lonza for kindly doing the presentation.
This year we raised £300 for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association charity. So thank you very much.
