Hampton Steel has remained open throughout the Covid-19 pandemic dealing with a high volume of orders from its loyal customers.
Whilst operating at all times in accordance with government guidelines, as UK manufacturers it has been impossible for all staff to work from home. Robust yet flexible plans were quickly put in place to protect employees, customers, suppliers and the communities in which Hampton operate. When staff’s roles have required that they be on site, strict social distancing rules reinforced by enhanced cleaning and hygiene processes have become second nature.
Hampton Steel’s IT and communications infrastructure has ensured that irrespective of where sales and other staff have been based, they have had access to the same systems which has allowed them to maintain their normal excellent levels of efficiency, quality and customer service.
