KWIKPAC DIVERSIFIES PRODUCT RANGE TO SUPPORT MORE INDUSTRIES THROUGH THE PANDEMIC

From their single office in Kirkcaldy, familyowned packaging suppliers, Kwikpac, are helping to support businesses across the UK and Ireland.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the company have remained operational and prioritised providing supplies for the NHS, local councils and others. Back in May, the company also began manufacturing their own brand of sanitising wipes, Kwik-cleanse™, in order to combat shortages and maintain stock levels for businesses which were struggling to source sufficient hygiene products.

As demand for workplace personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning products continues to increase with the re-opening of nonessential shops and other services, Kwikpac has made a permanent expansion to their product range with the introduction of a “Workplace PPE” section on their website which is part of their equipment range. This new initiative was put in place to ensure companies can access a wide range of products from a single centralised location, and most orders are being fulfilled on a next-working day service as standard.

A company representative said, “This pandemic has put a lot of strain on business owners and we’re lucky to have been able to continue trading despite reducing down to a smaller, core team. By expanding the range of products we can offer to our clients we hope to be able to see many of them safely re-open and welcome back their colleagues and customers in due course.

“The products we have introduced to our catalogue have all been sourced from leading quality assured production facilities and fully comply with strict EU standards to ensure the safety of users at all times. For the first time, we are able to offer protective screens and blinds, antibacterial gels and wipes, as well as medical-grade gloves and masks. These products will be essential to our workforces going forward, and we want our clients to know they can rely on us for all their business needs.”

Kwikpac is hoping to expand this offering in the coming months and is currently trialling a bespoke printing service on select products within the range in order to allow companies to customise items with their branding and colours.

As lockdown regulations ease, the company is urging clients to request large bulk orders via email at sales@kwikpac.co.uk in order to ensure supplies can reach all those who need them. Kwikpac offers trade accounts for regular customers and this helps reduce the chances of a stock shortage as deliveries can be scheduled in advance and products can be manufactured in plenty of time.
