The groundbreaking Profencer machine has reached the very northern extremities of the UK with Shetland farmer Jamie Leslie becoming an enthusiastic adherent.

Jamie, who has 1000 ewes and 90 suckler cattle on his 900 acre Scholland Farm in the south of Shetland, is the sixth generation of his family to be involved in farming but the first to discover the benefits of Profencer!

“It’s a brilliant machine,” explained Jamie “and whilst it’s a big investment, you soon forget about the cost when you experience its capabilities and build quality.

“It takes all the hard work out of putting mesh up and I use it regularly at the farm.

“I share it with my brother Alistair who runs the Ness Engineering contracting business at Virkie on the very southern tip of Shetland. He’s as equally enthusiastic as myself about the Profencer,” added Jamie.

When researching fencing machinery last ye, Jamie looked at a number of solutions but Profencer proved to be the one that ticked all the boxes.

“The competing machines didn’t quite match up to what this machine can do. It’s tough land to farm and fence up here but Profencer can deal with all situations,” he added.
