FENCEX 2025 – 15TH OCTOBER 2025 NAEC STONELEIGH

Innovation, Demonstration and Education – Showcasing the best of UK Fencing

The countdown is on to FenceX 2025, and with almost all of the indoor and outdoor stand space now sold and visitor registrations rising fast, the UK’s biggest fencing exhibition is shaping up to be an unmissable event. Held at NAEC Stoneleigh on 15 October, the one-day show brings together leading manufacturers, contractors, specifiers and suppliers for a packed programme of new products, exhibitions, education and live demonstrations.

Hands-On Learning at the Best Practice Day
Following the sell-out spring event at Harper Adams, the AFI & AEA Best Practice Day returns at FenceX 2025 — and it’s bigger, broader and even more hands-on. Delivered in partnership with Tornado Wire (lead sponsor), with support from Scanpole, and StoWag, this full-day practical showcase will take place outdoors alongside the main exhibition.

Visitors will experience:
• Two full lines of fencing — one in metal, one in wood — featuring deer netting, horse netting with electric top rail, and stock fencing
• Live demonstrations on adapting strainers, strutting, turners, and wire work in varied ground conditions
• Linewatch utility identification guidance
• Wellbeing support for industry professionals

The demonstrations will be led by some of the UK’s most respected and experienced fencing contractors, including: James Corbett, Rob Bell, Charlie Wright, Peter Redgwell, Stuart Miles, Mark Evans, Nic Quan, Jono Bradley, Si Gibbs, Lewis Knox, Rory Samson and Duncan Samson. This is practical, real-world learning you won’t find anywhere else in the industry — completely free to attend as part of your FenceX visit.

Industry Heavyweights On Show
The exhibitor list reads like a who’s who of fencing, security, and access control, with brands such as IAE, CLD, Barkers, Zaun, Lochrin Bain, Alexandra Security, First Fence, Birkdale, Henry Squire & Son, GateMaster, Harper Chalice/Hirsch, Borg Locks, and DHF all confirmed — alongside international exhibitors from across Europe and beyond.

YOUNG TALENT SHINES AT NFYFC FENCING COMPETITION FINAL

The National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs (NFYFC) Fencing Competition Final took place on Saturday 5th July 2025 at the County Showground in Stafford, showcasing the next generation of talent in our industry.

Congratulations go to the winning team: Andy Bennett, Ed Thomas, and Timothy Demons-Hopkins. A special mention to Ed and Timothy, who are part of MJ Evans Fencing—an AFI member company—demonstrating how AFI membership continues to support and connect the future of fencing.

The competition was judged by a panel of industry professionals, including George Martin (George Martin Fencing), Si Gibbs (HVF Fencing), and Wayne Hammond (Front Row Fencing)—with two of the judges being AFI members, a strong endorsement of the Association’s influence and expertise within the sector.

Events like these not only celebrate skill and precision but also highlight the growing presence of the AFI community across all levels of the industry. A big well done to all involved!
