MAKITA’S CHARGING CASE IS ELECTRIFYING

The new Makita BCC01 is a robust and efficient 8-port battery charging case intended to streamline the charging of power tools for busy professionals.
Designed with a compatible shape suitable for Makpac carriers – Makita’s interlocking storage system, this product is a game-changer for productivity on site. With the advantage of eight charging ports, the case enables the simultaneous charging of up to four Makita batteries at a time. The smart ‘Switch Change’ function automatically cycles to the four remaining batteries once the first four are fully charged to ensure batteries can be rotated when needed, creating minimal disruption to workflow.
The BCC01 is compatible with XGT 40V batteries and with the optional ADP10 adapter (sold separately), the charging case supports LXT 18V batteries too. The charging case charges batteries quickly, charging four 2.0Ah XGT batteries simultaneously in as little as 75 minutes. To charge eight, it takes 150 minutes.
“The BCC01 has been built for high-demand environments where efficiency and productivity are critical,” said Kevin Brannigan, Marketing Manager at Makita. “With simultaneous multi-port charging, automated cycling, and full Makpac integration, it delivers a compact, convenient solution that supports both XGT and LXT platforms — making it ideal for having on site.”

MAKITA BRANCHES OUT WITH ITS NEW PRUNING SAW
Makita has launched its latest powerful and compact UC029G 40VMax XGT Brushless Pruning Saw, built for high-performance cutting in landscaping and arborist applications.
The UC029G weighs just 1.3kg (without a battery), and is highly compact with an ergonomic grip, making it comfortable to use for extended periods of time. Also, the tool has been designed with optimised balance for comfortable overhead or one-handed operation.
The pruning saw has a larger motor compared to competitor products, allowing for smoother cutting of shrubs and small branches. Additionally, the high-efficiency brushless motor ensures less friction is generated, which translates into more power, and longer runtime as well as offering the additional advantage that replacement brushes are not needed, keeping future maintenance costs down.
The UC029G delivers professional grade cutting performance, tackling fast, clean cuts through branches and timber with impressive torque and efficiency. Quick and easy chain tensioning can be achieved without additional tools, as well as having an automatic chain lubrication feature, which is ideal for minimising disruption to workflow.
The additional safety features, including an anti-restart function and an electric brake ensure operator safety and ensure the tool is protected from damage during use over time. Built to withstand harsh environments and tough outdoor conditions, the UC029G has an IPX4 rating making it suitable for use even when it’s raining.
Kevin Brannigan (Marketing Manager) at Makita commented: “The launch of our new pruning saw underlines our commitment to delivering high-performance, reliable tools that meet the demanding needs of professionals working in outdoor environments. The UC029G is part of our growing XGT system, combining cordless convenience with outstanding durability and performance – an ideal option for users who need power without compromise.”
