WOLMAN ENHANCES UK CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXPANDS INTO IRELAND
Committed to continuously improving service for their valued customers, Wolman has recently announced the establishment of a new UK warehousing and distribution setup.
This development will allow UK customers to purchase and pay directly within the UK, ensuring significantly faster deliveries and smoother supply chain integration.
Richard Gulland, Wolman’s Accounts Manager for UK & Ireland, explained: “Our goal is to keep production processes running seamlessly and this new system has already proven successful and is something we aim to maintain for years to come.
“Up until now we have been invoicing and delivering products directly from our production plant and head office in Germany to each customer. We have improved this situation by now holding stock in the UK and using a local UK distribution company so that UK customers can buy product in the UK, be invoiced in the UK, and receive goods within 1-3 days depending on their postcode.
“It’s a much better service and enables customers to feel they have product at hand whenever they need it. This new UK setup allows us to work mor closely within our parent company SIKA UK LIMITED and align the wood preservation business within the larger supply of construction products from SIKA to the UK Market,” added Richard.
More good news for Wolman comes in the form of expansion into Ireland with approval gained for two key products in Wolmanit® CX for high-pressure treatment and Sinesto® for antisapstain treatment.
Richard went on: “We have also now registered our products in the Republic of Ireland and this more local service in the UK will allow an option of supporting any new Irish customers that want to use Wolman products with the same levels of service now enjoyed by UK customers.
“This expansion enables us to support a broader range of businesses in Ireland and reinforces our commitment to providing reliable solutions across the region,” added Richard.
