Landscaping in the urban jungle often means installing timber posts on hard surfaces where they won’t be concreted in. Using conventional post shoes can mean that in wet weather, these posts end up standing in water, which is bad news for their long-term survival – and that’s where our adjustable post support anchors can be a lifesaver.

Designed for posts and with a vertical load capacity of 2500kg, these clever supports take the weight of the timber while preventing the post from resting on the ground. As a result, the timber doesn’t soak up moisture from below, reducing the risk of rot.

Weatherproof performance

Made from carbon steel with a reinforced zinc coating, post anchors make it simple to fix freestanding structures like pergolas, fence posts and decorative features directly to concrete or paving. They offer long-term, weatherproof performance and allow for the natural expansion and contraction of the timber, while protecting it from moisture ingress.

There are two options available. The first is the Standard Post Anchor which is suitable for 100-150mm posts with a 14mm pre-drilled hole.

The second option, the Heavy Duty Anchor, is suitable for 125-250mm posts with a 30mm pre-drilled hole.

Both options can support up to 2500 kgs and allow for a vertical height adjustment of up to 45mm.
