Dan the man does it again.
Another successful competition as Dan Critchlow Fencing won the UK Fencing Championships for a second time.
Congratulations to Dan & Jake at Dan Critchlow Fencing for taking first position, Perrett Fencing 2nd and Sam Moore 3rd. We are looking forward to Dan & Jake coming back in 2019 to defend their title.
The weather this year was very warm so I must congratulate all the competitors for enduring the hot conditions.

The fence was 40 metres post and wire with a 3 metre field gate hung at the end of the fence line, with hand held tools only. And a hand tied joint in the netting towards the middle. Plus a hand tied join in the top wire too.
I would also like to thank both our judges Richard Foxley and Tim Bennett. A special mention needs to go to John Clancy for doing the commentary once again this year. Also I would like to thank Lewis and Damien for their help on the Fencing News stand as well.
