NSA SHEEP EVENT 2022
NSA is excited to welcome visitors to the return of the flagship event of the association, NSA Sheep Event, on Wednesday 27th July 2022 at the Three Counties Showground, Worcestershire.
Having greatly missed the event in 2020 the organising committee are now bringing together plans to provide an event that will give members an enjoyable and informative day out with all the usual seminars, demonstrations and competitions as well as some new exciting additions.
The theme of the event this year, ‘UK sheep farming: A positive future’, will mean that seminars and workshops look to provide constructive discussion and advice to attendees wanting to move their sheep farming businesses forward. The popular seminar pavilion will once again play host to several key names from the UK sheep industry to update on issues such as sheep farming’s role in future environmental protection, the UK’s diverse market opportunities and the importance of the sheep farmer himself to rural communities.

The event is a great opportunity to meet with industry experts and view up to date equipment from a large number of sheep focused companies. For many, this could be the first opportunity to visit an agricultural business to business event for several years and will also be a good excuse to meet up with old friends as many well-known faces from the UK sheep sector gather together to celebrate the day.
Entries are now open for several competitions including the popular Tornado Wire Fencing competition providing a rare opportunity to see professional fencing contractors pit their skills against their fellow competitors and demonstrate the advantage of good quality fence erection.
NSA Sheep Event will also hold an interesting inventions competition in 2022 as a brand-new feature for the event this year.
As in previous years, Field FarmTours will be leading visits to two forward thinking local farms as part of the build-up to the event itself and a celebration of sheep farming will be had at the NSA Sheep Event dinner held on the evening before the main event. The popular sheepdog sale will also take place on the day of the event.
