Kirkcaldy-based packaging specialists, Kwikpac Ltd., have begun manufacturing their own brand of sanitising hand wipes in an effort to combat shortages and provide more easily-accessible sanitising products to workers across the supply chain.

The wipes, called Kwik-cleanse™, are individually-wrapped for personal use and the small packets can be easily transported for use at work or on the go. The wipes are 99.999% antibacterial and have an unscented moisturising formula which protects the users’ skin from dryness and irritation. Each wipe is made from high-quality polyester and viscose for stretch and solution retention without lint fallout – reducing the chances of contamination or spread.

The company will be manufacturing the wipes at their headquarters at the Randolph Industrial Estate and distributing across the UK. Wipes can be purchased in packs of 200, or large boxes containing 10 packs.

A company representative said, “Since the beginning of the UK lockdown, we have remained operational as best we could in order to support our frontline workers and maintain the supply chain intact. We have been delivering to the NHS and other health services, and we have also monitored developments outside the medical industry as companies adapted to the current climate.

“We understand the struggle our industry, and many others, are going through and wanted to do our bit to help. By creating the Kwik-cleanse wipe, we hope to be able to ease workers’ transition back into the workplace and provide a safer environment for them while we continue to fight the virus.”

Alongside the standard Kwik-cleanse branding, the wipes can also be customised to feature bespoke prints and slogans. This option is available for all companies and industries and “offers a cost-effective way of promoting your brand whilst maintaining health and safety standards for your staff and clients”. Custom printing is available in-house and the packet can be designed by the Kwik-cleanse team or they can use a pre-made design.

The company are currently accepting requests for orders through their website, www.kwikcleanse.co.uk, or over the phone at 01592 650700 to prevent bulk-buying and ensure supplies can reach all those who need them.
