PROFENCER GOES TO THE MAX

When Max Clay of Shropshire-based Clays Contracting bagged two big fencing contracts at the start of 2018 he decided to ‘bite the bullet’ and purchase a Profencer.

Profencer had been on his radar since he set up his business near Shrewsbury around 4 years ago and the popular fencing machine is already having an impact on his productivity.

Max commented: “I like to invest in good quality kit. I have very high standards but significant purchases such as this have to be justified. Getting two large jobs at the start of the year meant the decision was made for me.

“I carry out a wide range of agricultural, domestic and commercial fencing contracts across the Midlands and Welsh borders and the Profencer has really helped me up my game and increase output and ensure a more consistent, high quality finish.

“We use it on the three point linkage on the 7530 and also on the Manitou pivot steer. Alan made us a adaptor plate to go from the three point linkage to pin and cone headstock so it would fit both. We find it great on both but even more flexible on the Manitou.

“It’s a brilliant machine that is well worth having and I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to any contractors out there who are looking to get to the next level,” concluded Max.
