Backing British timber: CJT puts confidence at the heart of Platinum Incised
Reaching the Places Other Fencing Machines Can’t
For many fencing contractors, the biggest challenge isn’t driving the post – it’s getting the machine into position to do the work.
Woodland, steep banks, track margins and difficult ground conditions can all turn a straightforward fencing job into a much bigger challenge. Having equipment that can reach these areas, while still delivering the power and accuracy required, can make a significant difference on site.
This is where the Klou vibrating post driver is becoming an essential attachment for many operators looking to get more from their existing machines.
Available in two models, the KPD1 and KPD217 allow contractors to drive timber, steel and even plastic posts with excavators, mini-skid steers, sit-in skid steers, telehandlers and mini articulated loaders.
After putting his KPD217 through its paces, Jack at Green Jack Countryside Services shared why it has become his preferred solution for challenging fencing work.
“It really speaks for itself that we bought our new KPD217 post driver without a demo. Instead, Klou told us that if we weren’t happy after a month, we could have a full refund.
“We’ve had the attachment for about three months now, and a refund is the last thing on our minds.
“After 15 years of building fences in challenging locations, the Klou vibratory post driver is the best thing we’ve found to put on the end of an excavator.
“It comes into its own in difficult terrain or tight woodlands where a dedicated tracked fencing machine just can’t operate. Its durability, compact size, power and accuracy mean it has kept sending strainer posts into anything we’ve pointed it at.
“Flinty chalk? Track margins? No problem. The ability to accurately put in fence posts anywhere an excavator can reach has meant less clearance work, more posts in the ground and greater efficiency.”
If this sounds like the solution your next fencing project needs, come and see Klou at the APF Exhibition in September and see the Klou post driver in action! Stand 1440, by the climbing poles.
