Sally and Andrew Rose reverse the trend and open a trade counter and warehouse on the high street. Sacrofast Ltd are a family run business now based in the idyllic town of Heathfield a rural part of East Sussex.
Andrew says “I have been involved in the stapling and nailing business since I was 16, you could say staple guns are in my blood. My Grandfather & my great-uncles founded a manufacturing business in Glasgow in 1896 one of the first in the world to manufacture and sell hand staple guns, they traded as J & H Rosenheim and five families lived off that business.”
Fast forward to spring 2021 and the purchase of Sacrofast House is finalised. The primary purpose being to offer our customers the ability to come visit us, to touch and feel the product. “We offer a huge range of staplers, nailers, staples, nails and allied materials. In the modern age we all have to use the internet but often wonder who we are buying from or dealing with. We strongly felt there was a need for a specialist trade counter where our existing and new customers can come to look and then buy the product they have seen on our online shop.”
Sally continues “We will only offer what we physically have in stock, this means a customer can come and collect that day or if not, we will ship out the same day. We have a small team of dedicated people in sales and service, not forgetting Bradley and Rosie our canine assistants.”

We are stockists of other good quality brands in the stapling & nailing stable, including Bostitch, Omer, Fasco. Andrew says, “If we haven’t got it, it is unlikely anyone else will have it. Therefore, any customer small or large is more than welcome to come to visit us, have a solidly safe coffee and buy at very favourable pricing “

Even after 125+ years Sacrofast are proud to say although we stock and sell an air nailer which can fire a 5-inch nail, we still sell the old-fashioned ubiquitous hand staple gun, ”I think my Father, Grandfather and great-uncles would be proud.” says Andrew.
