After another unprecedented year of sales, Tornado Wire continues to invest in both plant and people, building stocks of their high-quality products for 2022 and retaining the Gold accreditation in Investors in People.

The Torus R8/80/22 is now fully established as the “Ultimate Livestock Fencing” outselling the C8/80/15 by almost 50%. Unlike other products, which have 15cm spacings for the vertical wires, the 22cm spacing prevents sheep from getting their heads stuck in the fence. It also reduces the chance of ear tags getting caught and pulled off on the fence.

The R8/80/22 stock fence features solid vertical wires, and the unobtrusive high pressure bonded Torus knot, which does not have any sharp edges. It is manufactured with high tensile wire which strains tighter than mild steel and so requires fewer intermediate posts, making it quicker to erect. The spring-like properties of a high tensile wire help the netting stay tight, keeping maintenance to a minimum.

Contractors love the R8/80/22 and, once they’ve tried it, many of Tornado’s customers won’t use any other product, they find it fast and easy to install as it is compatible with leading wire netting, dispensing and tensioning systems and is available in 100m, 250m and 500m rolls to suit individuals’ requirements.
