BRITISH OPEN FENCING CHAMPIONSHIPS AND SPEED FENCING COMPETITION SET TO IGNITE APF SHOW 2026
UK MANUFACTURER HAMPTON STEEL RIDING HIGH IN UNCERTAIN TIMES
Hampton Steel supports many international and domestic trade fairs seeing them as important events for professionals and visitors alike.
With COVID-19 taking hold, many shows have and will be disrupted, the international Wire and Tube 2020 industry show at the end of March in Dusseldorf; WIRE and TUBE 2020 is no exception. With over 1400 exhibitors and 42000 visitors gathering over 5 days, this is an important part of Hampton’s international programme.
The good news is that Wire and Tube has been rescheduled to the 7th to 11th December when it is expected that normality will have resumed. It will be a busy end of 2020 for Hampton’s with EuroTier in November in Hanover and Wire and Tube the following month.
‘Trade shows are important for us. No amount of online chat beats talking to our customers face- to-face. We are pleased that the organisers of Wire and Tune have been able to reschedule the show to December and we look forward to meeting with both customers and suppliers then. Uncertainty is unsettling but we have excellent supply chains and we are in the very fortunate position, as UK manufacturers, to be able to react quickly to customer needs. Our production plans remain on track and stocks levels are healthy.” Said Mark Johnson, Managing Director of Hampton Steel Ltd.
Testament to Hampton’s resilience and continued investment in product development, saw the recent launch of Hampton NETTM Green, fixed knot fencing with the same rust resistant green painted coating as Rylock® Green and Tinsley Green®. Guaranteed for twenty years, this incredibly durable fencing provides the customer with the reassurance that they are investing in possibly the best high quality woven wire fencing available.
