Lawsons Holdings Limited’s has announced the recent completion of the acquisition of AVS Group Holdings Limited. AVS trades through its subsidiary company AVS Fencing Supplies Limited.

The turnover of the combined group will be close to £125m with 565 employees and operates from 27 branches across the South East of England. The acquisition of AVS is a great strategic fit for Lawsons and will form a platform for future expansion in the fencing and landscaping market.

Lawsons is a well-known, respected and family owned business operating from seventeen branches throughout London and the South East. Lawsons will be celebrating its 100th year of trading next year.

AVS has ten branches employing over one hundred and twenty members of staff in the South and East of England majoring in fencing and hard landscaping materials.

AVS will retain its brand identity and continue to operate separately under the direction of its Managing Director Stewart Pierce. Lawsons, under the guidance of Chairman Simon Lawson, will assist in the future growth and development strategy of AVS. Along with Simon, Jeremy Norris and Paul Rushent will both join the AVS Holdings Limited Board.
