CWP INTRODUCES THE CLEFT FIELD GATE
Cranbrook-based CWP fencing has been producing chestnut fencing products for over 20 years and prides itself in quality at an affordable price.
A spokesperson commented: “Over this time we have developed products that move with the times yet utilise the traditional cleft look.
“We started producing the Cleft Field Gate to complement our cleft post and rail fencing and, over the last few years, have developed a gate sturdy enough to last the term of the fence.
“Too often we saw contractors installing an attractive cleft post and rail fence only for them to use a pressure treated softwood gate with the fencing or worse still a galvanised steel gate. The availability and use of cleft gates in the industry has been limited due to the high cost of a gate, often made by limited skilled individuals.
“CWP fencing has developed a system which significantly reduces the cost of the gate and hence its uptake by customers and the final owner of the fencing has significantly increased.
“We are confident that when given the choice the end customer will opt for our gate to compliment the fencing. With the increased use of gate automation we have also introduced a Heavy Cleft Field gate with a bottom rail strong enough to withstand the mechanism.”
