HELP TO SAVE A LIFE WITH FACT FIRST AID COURSE

Fencing and Construction Training (FaCT) is well established as an approved first aid training provider and can deliver a range of courses.

MD Tim Drew explained: “First Aid training is one of the best training courses anyone can attend. It could help you save the life of a work colleague, a member of the public or a member of your own family!

“FaCT delivers three different courses: Emergency First Aid (1-day), First Aid at Work (3-day) and First Aid at Work Refresher (2-day).

“The courses cover emergency actions, basic life support, how to use a defib (AED), head, neck & back injuries, unconsciousness &recovery position, bleeding & burns and injuries to the bones, muscles & joints as well as much more.

“The courses are very hands-on with lots of participation and fun to help candidates learn and develop their skills. The delegates need to be physically able to knee and work on the floor practicing life saving skills.

“FaCT has developed the delivery style to be particularly relevant to fencing, landscaping and construction workers, as well as meeting the needs of general first aid,” added Tim.

Candidates who successfully complete the course and pass the assessment will gain an HSEapproved certificate in Emergency First Aid or First Aid at Work, which are valid for 3 years. This training also helps businesses meet their legal obligations.

Courses are delivered at the FaCT training centre in the Midlands or can be delivered on-site anywhere in the UK.

“When we come to you, you need to provide a room, with plenty of space, for all the delegates to sit and to practice first aid skills. Ideally, the floor should be carpets, but must be clean. The room must have power, heat, and a clean blank wall, to project the presentation onto or a large TV,” added Tim.

Prices start as low as £90 per person for a group of 12 at your venue for the Emergency First Aid Course at your venue.
