Fencing in the Derbyshire Peak District brings its own challenges but Dan Critchlow has the perfect solution in the form of a Kinghitter post knocker.
Dan, who set up Hope Valley-based Dan Critchlow Fencing around 8 years ago, has been fencing for almost two decades but suffered a break in at his yard last Christmas that saw his prized Kinghitter ruined after 15 sterling years of service.
“It was a big blow as they caused a lot of damage,” explained Dan “but I got on the phone to UK Kinghitter dealer John Frizzell of TruTestAgtech Ltd and got a new one ordered from New Zealand. It’s such a helpful piece of kit that I cannot do without it.
“It’s a lot better for me being in the hills most of the time as it offers more balance for me than other models, greater angle flexibility and a much longer side shift that goes way past the Lamborghini tractor it’s mounted on.
“It seems to be a more solid machine than those of rivals and I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to other fencing contractors,” concluded Dan who used to work with Allan Froggatt of Profencer fame!
