NEW DURABLE DEER FENCING FROM M&M TIMBER

The DeerGuard range offers a premium timber fencing solution, ideal for boundary fencing across agricultural lands, country estates, and parks. These stakes, struts, and strainers are specifically designed to protect areas where deer graze, as well as to safeguard new plantings, young trees, or hazel coppices from wild deer.
DeerGuard is available in two options:
- Machine Round
- Morbark Peeled
Both options feature clean, four-way anti-twist points and are made from slow-grown pine. These high-performance timbers are kiln-dried to reduce moisture to below 30%, ensuring complete sapwood penetration and maximum preservative absorption during the pressure treatment process.
Performance and Warranty
Ground-contact timber durability is critical, and DeerGuard is treated to meet rigorous standards, carrying either a 15-year or 30-year warranty. If the product fails during this period, M&M Timber will replace the timbers free of charge under the no-quibble, fully traceable warranty registration process. Since 2013, M&M Timber’s leading Agricised brand has installed over 12 million posts with 0% failure.
Key Features of DeerGuard:
- Slow-grown pine for durability
- Four-way anti-twist pointed posts for ultimate stability
- Date recognition ID tag
- Square packs for easy stacking, transporting, and storing
- Fully compliant with Use Class 4 (UC4) BS8417 for ground contact
- Fully traceable replacement warranty in case of failure due to fungal rot or decay
M&M Timber DeerGuard fencing timbers are FSC Certified and backed by WPA Benchmark accreditation, a scheme that verifies the durability and biological resistance of wood treated by industrial impregnation. Products certified under this scheme comply with BS8417, the British standard for wood preservation.
