MCVEIGH PARKER OPEN THEIR GATES

 MCVEIGH PARKER OPEN THEIR GATES

After possibly the wettest winter in history McVeigh Parker Devon opened their gates to new and current customers alike on what was the first dry, and possibly hottest, day of the year in April.

Steve and his team put on a great display and welcomed many customers. The main topic of discussion was fencing, especially with the new grants being increased by over 50%. McVeigh Parkers premium Xfence wire, especially in larger rolls (200m, 300m and 500m), were a huge topic of interest with many contractors realising the benefits of the consistent quality and time saved with using a premium wire. Clipex steel posts, Xfence wire and the Triple X metal strainer system were erected and on show. The displays received a lot of attention with customers able to touch and test the product in its end environment. Other popular fencing products on show were the huge range of creosoted stakes and strainers and the new Pole+ treated posts. The Strainrite fencing tool range gained a great deal of attention, especially their new Mk2 Procrimp tool which was being demonstrated. The farmers could also get their hands on products and compare all the various crushes, races, trailers, feeders and drinkers from 10 different suppliers – a lot of the products were available on the recent set of government grants. McVeigh Parker will be repeating this open day in the Scottish branch in Biggar on June 1st 10am-3pm, everyone is invited to come along and meet Robin and his team.

A reminder to all those wishing to enter for the title of ‘The British Open fencing Champion’ and the ‘British Open Speed Champion’ register your interest to stuart@mcveighparker.co.uk
