Not All Green Treatment Is the Same… So what are you actually getting with Platinum Incised 15?
SPREAD THE WORD
Whatever your thoughts on social media, it can be an easy way to promote your business with an increasing number of companies in our industry getting involved in the sharing of effective and engaging content whether that be on Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook or indeed more recently created platforms such as Bluesky or Threads.
Two of the fencing contractors featured in this issue of Fencing News are good examples of best practice with both Jamie Campbell of Tattersall Groundworks and James Bradley of JMT Services engaging with both Instagram and Facebook and posting regular updates on completed projects with a number of relevant hashtags helping to expand the reach. Placing relevant addresses in your posts (such as @fencing_ news_magazine for Instagram and @Fencing & Landscaping News for Facebook) also helps to spread the word further afield!
It’s important to remember that your Facebook home page is effectively a free advertisement so make sure you include as much information as possible on the ‘About’ page and incorporate a strong, clear image that reflects what you do…indeed try to use a photograph that includes your branding or indeed yourself in the picture. Folks like to see who they’re dealing with! Try to post at least once a month. Once a week is ideal but keep your posts interesting and humorous where possible reflecting the day-to-day experiences and challenges of your stock in trade with clear photos and videos. Engage with any comments where possible as this is great PR on your part!
And it’s not just about you! When you get a chance, view the updates of other firms in the sector and follow and/or like their updates. This will help to grow your own following. The fencing industry is setting a great example with so many contractors and suppliers grasping the nettle and spreading the word effectively. It’s heart-warming to see the levels of camaraderie at play within our different sectors.
Keep sharing the good news… and remember to include Fencing News in all of your posts!
