HAMPTON’S DONATION OF DEER FENCING TO ‘WILDLIFE FOR ALL’ CHARITY

Hampton were contacted by ‘Wildlife for All’, a pioneering nature conservation charity with its own reserves in Sussex and South Africa.

They needed a donation of deer fencing for The Oasis nature reserve in West Hoathly, Sussex. Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Oasis is a 15-acre nature reserve and education centre providing a glimpse into ancient forestry, pre the clearing of large areas of woodland for agriculture. Maintaining this area of natural beauty is imperative to the Charity. Large displays of bluebells are evident in May and there is a woodland stream inhabited by trout and visited by kingfishers. Woodpeckers and owls are heard daily. Unfortunately, visiting wild deer were damaging the woodland and young trees.

Hampton donated the deer mesh to help the charity protect against further damage.
