A NEW FENCING SUPPLIER FOR MERCHANTS

Equestrian Fencing & Timber Ltd have been asked many times over the years if they could supply panels in bulk to merchants and larger contractors.

Director Graeme Muckley explained: “The answer at the time was always no as we did not want to compromise on quality to increase output.

Fast forward to 2024, and following a meeting with Southam Automation, the decision was taken to invest in a machine that produces closeboard and another one that manufactures larch lap panels.

Since then, our business has taken on several merchant stockists for their panels and gates, and ensured that they are fully stocked during an incredibly busy start to 2025.

The recent investments will help drive the company forward. We are now seeing that we can produce significant volumes of panels, whilst maintaining the fantastic quality that our customers have come to expect over the last 25 years.

We are having great feedback from the merchant sector, and are now in a position to take on further stockists.

The huge variance in products on offer means that Equestrian Fencing can offer something different to other panel manufacturers and our range can really help the smaller independent merchants.

In our workshops we are able to produce around 300 panels per day in total, and the value for merchants is that they can mix and match this with other products we offer, like building timber, decking, green oak, sleepers, cladding, driveway gates and trellis.
