AFI IS SPREADING IT’S WINGS

 AFI IS SPREADING IT’S WINGS

The Association of Fencing Industries (AFI) is hosting it’s first event of the year at Wyboston Lakes conference centre, near Cambridge on Wednesday 26th February.

The free workshop will start at 4pm with all members and non- members invited. This great location gives access to a lot of our fencing contractor, supplier and manufacturer members along with many potential new member companies so we can bring lots of people together encouraging and increasing networking in the industry.

Starting at 4pm, attendees can get in a reasonable day ‘s work before coming in from the cold and dark to have a drink and find out more about the AFI. The workshop will be a great chance for non-members to find out about the association and how being
a member benefits them. Board members, CEO Ian Ripley and Admin staff from the AFI will be on hand to answer questions and explain the expertise available.

The AFI exists to make the fencing industry stronger and events like this free workshop will bring companies together to make this happen.

We’ll have some informative presenters to give information on how the AFI can help our members with issues that are important
to them including training, cyber crime, finding jobs in your area and how changes in tax rules might affect you. With plenty of time to speak to the AFI board you can get your queries about the AFI answered. Plus non-members can take advantage of membership discounts to sign up on the day.

Ian Ripley said, “We hope to make events of this type a regular feature of the AFI’s activities. Once you get a crowd of Fencers talking to each other this type of get together provides a real opportunity to build a support and advice network that can span the whole country.”
