APF 2024 FENCING VILLAGE EXPANDED TO COPE WITH DEMAND
As a result of unprecedented demand, the Fencing Village at APF 2024 has been expanded to cope with the number of exhibitors wanting to book space.
The list of exhibitors already booked is a veritable who’s who in the fencing industry. Exhibition Secretary Ian Millward commented “We are delighted that the concept of the Fencing Village – a show within a show is proving so popular. It has grown year on year to be a key feature of the event. We recognised that fencing didn’t have its own show so wanted to support it as there is so much crossover. Our originally allocated area opposite the fencing arena has very quickly filled up so we have now expanded it to accommodate demand.”
Exhibitor bookings are very strong and over 90% of available demonstration space has now been sold. Ian urges would-be exhibitors to book soon to avoid disappointment. A 10m frontage site costs just £1705 and you will get a very targeted audience. 95% of visitors are trade professionals. A full list of exhibitors can be found in the useful documents area in the exhibitor section of the website.
A highlight of the show will be the two British fencing championships, being sponsored by McVeigh Parker on the 19th & 20th September. Thursday 19th sees the British speed fencing championships using Clipex fencing and Friday 20th sees the traditional post and wire championships. Both are for teams of two. The fencing arena has been expanded for APF 2024 to cope with the demand for extra teams. Entry forms are available from McVeigh Parker or the Competition and Events page on our website www.apfexhibition.co.uk. Do you think you have what it takes to become British champion? Sign up now to enter and test your skills against the UK’s best and win some great prizes.
The Fencing Village is just one part of a huge event. Elsewhere you will find 2.5 miles and around £80 million of working machinery. Everything for the largest forest to the smallest farm or estate. You can watch the world poleclimbing championships, the European chainsaw carving championships, APF tree climbing competition, the UK forwarder driving competition, horse logging, and the largest and most comprehensive traditional woodland crafts area in the UK.
There is far too much to do and see on one day. Book our on-site campsite only 50m from the showground. Tickets are available now from our website or you will be able to buy them on the gate.
We still have some space available in the Fencing Village. A 10m frontage site costs just £1705 and you will get a very targeted audience. The APF show is still predominantly a trade show with 95% of our visitors working professionals. We also have some very attractive sponsorship packages if you would like to boost your company’s profile at the show. Exhibitors in the Fencing Village also get the opportunity to use the fencing arena on Saturday 21st for working demonstrations.
