AUTOGUIDE’S POSTMASTERS AND AUGERS

 AUTOGUIDE’S POSTMASTERS AND AUGERS

Wiltshire-based Autoguide know a thing or two about innovation having been immersed in the world of engineering design since starting up in 1977.

“We are always looking to be ahead of the game when it comes to agricultural and fencing technology,” explained a company spokesperson. “Our range of Postmasters and H-Series augers are testament to that.

“We manufacture and supply the Postmasters in three different sizes; Mini, Midi, Maxi. The Mini suits a 1.5 to 3T digger and installs posts up to 6”, the Midi fits a 3T to 5T digger and drives posts up to 8”. The Maxi suits a 6T to 8T digger installing posts up to 10”.

“The Postmaster range is designed to be operated either from an excavator or crane and works on a double acting hydraulic service that uses vibration technology to ease the posts into the ground. It’s perfect for post installation and removal.

“They come with a selection of different attachments such as rock spikes and customisable jaw options across the range that are perfect for installing posts of varying designs, aside of circular or square.

“Postmasters can be attached to diggers using an attachment plate that can be built on a bespoke basis to best suit a customer’s excavator or machine.

“The H Range of augers are designed to drill holes for gate posts, fencing, and even telegraph poles depending on the auger size. We are able to supply augers ranging from 6” upwards.

“The powerheads are a fixed speed hydraulic machine which can suit diggers from 1.5T to 8T. We supply these with bespoke made swivels that can be manufactured to suit customer excavators. Along with this, Autoguide manufacture and supply torque heads which enable the installation of screw piles for construction projects.

“We are always thinking of how to improve and ease the workload of fencing and agricultural contractors and our H-Series and Postmaster machines really do demonstrate that commitment.”
