A Midlands-based software developer has introduced a new voice-to-text function that allows users of its business management app, jobmate, to action their daily business activities without the need to manually enter text.
Responding to calls from small business owners, who currently rely on the jobmate app to manage their daily admin and book-keeping tasks, jobmate Ltd developed the new function to make it possible for hands-on business managers to go hands-free.
“We are always listening to our customers and now our app is listening to them too!” Says jobmate founder and CEO Chris Dalton. “It became clear that for jobmate users who perform a number of manual tasks, they would greatly benefit from a voice-to-text function. Now they can do a quick quote, make out an invoice or simply enter a diary note without needing to stop and type everything in.” This, says Chris, means that jobmate users everywhere can continue to capture their costs and activities while literally ‘on the go’.
