DURABILITY BY DESIGN – CLOSING THE GAP BETWEEN TIMBER’S POTENTIAL AND ITS PERFORMANCE
DOING THINGS BY THE BOOK PROVES GOOD NEWS FOR HAMPTON STEEL!
The Wellingborough-based manufacturer of wire fencing comes in for high praise from author and equestrian enthusiast Amy Dell in her book entitled ‘Horse Track Systems’.
Amy, who also runs Abbotts View Livery, a track system boarding facility, and Barefoot and Back to Nature Consultancy, realised there was a gap in the market for a book that detailed how to set up a track system for horse owners. Amy explained “My mission is to help others make changes for the better in the way they keep their horses and to guide them so they don’t make the same mistakes that I did.
“My book was released in late 2022 and has, so far, sold over 4000 copies worldwide and been included in three amazon best seller lists. It’s already gained over 150 five star reviews on Amazon and helped many people and their horses.
“One of the keys to a successful track system is having safe fencing especially as the horses are in closer proximity to it than in a paddock setting.
“I switched the fencing on our track system back in 2018 to Hampton Steel’s Hampton NET Foal and Horse fencing after a horse sustained a nasty injury on electric fencing, despite having quick release break points. “I also wanted more security and Hampton gives me just that. The horses can’t get through it and can’t get caught in it as the hole size is too small for hooves. “It’s been an absolute game changer in terms of safety and security and I recommend it to all my consultancy clients and our following on social media,” added Amy who spends a lot of her time running Abbotts View Livery situated between Aylesbury and Leighton Buzzard in Buckinghamshire. Patrick Westwood, MD of Hampton Steel, commented: “Amy’s book is very informative and has been very well received within the equestrian community.
“We are absolutely delighted with Amy’s endorsement of Hampton Steel’s product. Our Foal and Horse fencing offers unbeatable safety and durability and features animal-safe knots that are specially developed to reduce the risk of injury from rubbing or impact, giving horse owners total peace of mind.”
