When it comes to fencing then East Yorkshire-based Chris Kneeshaw knows his stuff
He also understands the importance of efficient, reliable machinery aimed at easing the daily workload.
He purchased a Profencer way back in December 2014 and it’s still going strong almost a decade on.
“It’s faultless,” explained Chris “and, if I’m being honest, I can’t understand why any fencing contractor worth his salt doesn’t have one.
“It was delivered on December 18th and when people ask how I can remember the day then it’s easy. It’s my birthday!
“When it comes to rolling out and pulling up stock fencing it’s a lifesaver and a time saver!
“It’s not used every day – over half of my workload is post and rail – but when it is used it always delivers.
“It’s as good today as the day I got it and, whilst it’s a fair old investment at the start, it works out as cheap as chips over the years. “All you need is a bit of grease every week to keep the machinery going and you’ll be rewarded with reliability and longevity.
“It’s been so reliable it’s worthy of a ten year testimonial just like professional footballers!” added Chris.
Chris has run his agricultural fencing business from Bainton near Driffield for 45 years and currently has one employee.
“About 90% of our work is from existing customers and they all appreciate and understand the benefits of having a Profencer.
