FENCING COMPETITION POSTPONED UNTIL 2022
The Fencing & Landscaping News UK Fencing Championship, scheduled to take place at this year’s Driffield Show, has been postponed until 2022.
Organiser Ben Walton explained: “With the 2021 Driffield Show adopting a two-day format we have agreed, after liaising with sponsors and exhibitors, to instead run the popular competition next year.
“We think it would be unfair on those supporting the competition. It can only take place on one day and they are unlikely to get the footfall up to the competition area if nothing is happening on the second day.
“We will update all interested parties on the 2022 competition later this year via email and through our magazine and website and look forward to welcoming even more people to the event next year,” added Ben
