GETTING CLOSER TO THE FOREST WITH EVA TIMBER

Eva Timber builds on its strong connections with specialist sawmills and service providers in Eastern Europe, the Baltic, Central Europe, Scandinavia, and Turkey. The company fulfills customer requirements for specific timber sizes, specifications, moisture content, or treatment, areas where larger production-focused mills might struggle. Representing mills that prefer not to handle sales themselves, Eva Timber ensures excellent quality timber products.
Originally focused on fencing, landscaping, and construction products, Eva Timber has expanded to include joinery-grade redwood and whitewood, thermally modified timbers, STK Cedar, and oak. Their commitment remains to work with specialist suppliers to meet customer needs precisely.
Eva Direct
Recognizing the importance of competitively priced products, Eva Timber has introduced Eva Direct. Traditionally, customers would buy full loads of a single item and wait weeks for delivery. With fast-turning stock at Riga Quay and 15 sailings per month to the UK, Eva Direct enables “little and often” purchases. Customers can order mixed specifications, such as poles of different diameters and lengths, along with posts, rails, or even sleepers, and have them delivered in a few weeks.
David Whitehill, Commercial Director, explained:
“If a customer wants 3 different diameters of pole in 3 different lengths and some posts and rails… oh, and a pack of sleepers… no problem. We’ll put it on one order for you to collect from the quay or arrange delivery to your premises.”
Eva Timber also offers kiln drying and treatment to customer specifications, including Use Class, color, or creosote. Whether timber is needed unseasoned, kilned, green, brown, blue, or orange, they make it happen.
