LAUNCH OF THE PRO-STRAIN I-POST®

On 30th April, the AFI & AFA Best Practice Day took place at Harper Adams University. It was a beautiful day, and the event was sold out, with more than 150 people in attendance.

At the event, experienced and respected fencing contractors gave up their time to demonstrate. We were excited to share prototypes of our latest innovation – the Pro-Strain i-Post, it is an intermediate steel post, designed to complement the Pro-Strain straining system.

The Pro-Strain i-Post embodies a “Field to Factory to Field” approach, utilising a plastic component made from recycled agricultural packaging. This creates a circular product lifecycle, allowing materials to transition from farms into the product and back onto agricultural land. At the end of its life, the Pro-Strain i-Post can be recycled again.

Some of the key features are:

• Durability: The post features a steel profile with a recycled plastic insert, allowing it to be easily stapled into place with a staple gun or by hand. Its pointed end facilitates driving it into the ground.

• Versatility: Without the need for clips, the Pro-Strain i-Post can accommodate any line wire configuration, giving you the freedom to align the net as desired.

• Ease of Installation: Designed for a quick and straightforward installation process

• Variety of Lengths: Available in three lengths: 1.8m, 2.1m, and 3m (approximately 6 ft, 7 ft, and 10 ft). The Pro-Strain i-Post will be officially launched at the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh, which will be taking place from 19-22 June 2025.
