Fencing and landscaping supply business, Lawsons, is proud to announce that Jordan Payne, a Branch Team Supervisor from their Acton Branch, has won the prestigious Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) Apprentice of the Year Award 2024.

This award, judged by a panel of leading industry figures, recognizes Jordan’s workplace educational achievements and his commitment to professional growth.

The BMF Apprentice of the Year Award, presented by the BMF, honors apprentices who demonstrate skill and dedication in their roles.

After two years of distance learning and one-on-one mentoring, Jordan completed his apprentice studies at the Institute of Apprentice & Technical Education for the Team Leader / Supervisor Level 3 program with a Distinction grade this summer.

Jordan Payne commented:
“Lawsons gave me all the resources I needed to complete the program and supported me to attend out-of-branch courses, including a management course and a first aid course. I was encouraged to have a say in branch meetings and was allocated time for my apprenticeship studies.”

Jeremy Norris, Managing Director of Lawsons, added:
“Lawsons is committed to developing talent, nurturing, and supporting our next generation of managers.”

Lawsons is a fourth-generation, family-owned business, operating across London and the southeast. The company prides itself on serving local and regional builders and tradesmen.
