LEVEL 2 FENCING INSTALLER DIPLOMAS
East Sussex-based Ajs Training have been completing diplomas since 2008 within the UK and boast ten dedicated fencing assessors supporting companies and candidates.
A spokesperson commented: “Whilst we are aware many companies will now use the new Fencing Apprenticeship Funding to upskill their current workforce to become qualified fence Installers and receive a Blue FISS/CSCS card we are fully aware that some people will not be able to source this funding due to being self-employed or that they already hold qualifications that could prevent access, or they need to get the Blue FISS/CSCS fence installer quickly due to contractual requirements.
“We also appreciate that diplomas do cost a lot of money that can be spent elsewhere and this tends to put potential candidates off, especially if they are able to work on site just using the green labourers CSCS card. As a result, Ajs Training have been developing our own IT systems that will allow the candidates to collect evidence on site and also to be able complete inductions remotely, which saves us and you time and costs.
“We can offer 2 costs for the fencing diplomas at level 2 or 3. It all depends on how the candidates wish to work with us. If you still require us to complete face to face inductions and do not feel able to work with our IT system to help collect the evidence we would be looking at our standard rate, but if you are able to work with Ajs in a pro-active manner which will reduce our own travel time and costs this allows us to reduce the total cost of the diploma considerably.
“Every candidate will still receive on site assessment in line with National Occupational Standards.
“Our standard cost is £1250+vat per person, but our rate for when you can work with us is reduced to £950+vat per person. We can also give group discounts.”
