TORNADO WIRE PREPARES FOR MAJOR 2026 FENCING COMPETITION AT THE NSA SHEEP EVENT
MJ Evans Fencing takes the lead.
Another successful competition, we had 9 teams of 2. Judges Charlie and Richard explained it was a very close call between the top 3.
Congratulations to Mark and Nick taking 1st position, Simon Gibbs & John Morgan 2nd and Dan Critchlow Fencing 3rd. We look forward to Mark and Nick coming back next year to defend their title.
The weather was reasonable this year which made life a bit easier compared to the weather last year.

The fence was 40m post and wire with a 3.6 gate hung at the end of the fence line with hand held tools only and a hand tied joint in the netting towards the middle. Plus a hand tied joint in the top line wire.
A few beers and burgers were had be all after the competition. I would like to thank, Gary Batley, Tim Bennett, John Clancy, Ben Walton & Lewis Gallon-Thornton for all their help.
