You can’t go much further north on the British mainland than Ally Robertson of A J Robertson Fencing!

Ally installs agricultural, stock and deer fencing across the north of Scotland from his base in the picturesque village of Lairg, just 38 miles from the far north coast in the midst of some of the most spectacular scenery on the planet.

That’s all the more reason why Ally, a part-time sheep farmer and firefighter, requires reliable and productive machinery such as his WRAG postknocker of which he’s only too willing to praise to the hilt.

Ally explained: “I used to use my digger but invested in a WRAG late last year after seeing how it benefitted one of my fencing colleagues up here. It’s revolutionised how I operate and has almost tripled my output when it comes to installing straining posts. There’s simply no comparison.

“When I was looking at the options I required a model that could be towed easily on a trailer and the WRAG fitted the bill perfectly. I’ve not looked back and it’s making an impact all over the Highlands!” added Ally who set up his business around ten years ago after ‘learning the ropes’ through his father’s fencing business.

Aside of performance, Ally has also been impressed by the after sales service provided by Staffordshire-based WRAG

“They value their customers and don’t view them as cash cows. I recently ordered a couple of extra parts for it and they arrived promptly. No mess, no fuss and you need that level of trust and reliability when working in such remote locations.

“I can’t speak highly enough of it and I can see it being part of my operations for many years to come. I can see myself building fences with a WRAG for decades to come!” concluded Ally.

WRAG is clearly hitting the mark across Caithness, Sutherland and the vast open spaces of northern Britain!
