STENNER UPGRADE THE MHS9 RANGE
The first Stenner MHS resaw was produced in 1993 and is still running today.
More than 900 machines have been produced since then many of which are producing fencing components for the UK market. “We now have the MHS9’s controlled by PLC’s making operation much simpler and user friendly and we also have the capability of interrogating the machine remotely if connected to the internet” says Stenner UK Sales Manager Jeremy Bingham.
The demand for Feather Edge Boards has remained strong throughout 2020 and order books are already well into 2021. MHS9’s are ideal for the production of these components as a three head machine can produce four boards from a 47mm block and a five head can produce six boards from a 72mm block.
Since the early days many upgrades have taken place and the new machines can now be supplied with Frequency Control of the main motors, Electric Rise and Fall of the saw units, Multi-axis Positioning Systems, Remachinable Sawguides and a Pressure Spray Lubrication system for accurate application of vegetable oil based lubricants.
