The Association of Fencing Industries (AFI) is pleased to announce that the entry deadline for the 2026 UK Fencing Awards has been extended until mid August, giving businesses and individuals across the fencing industry additional time to showcase their achievements.

The extension follows requests from companies keen to submit entries but needing a little more time to complete their applications during what is traditionally one of the industry’s busiest periods.

Now in their latest edition, the UK Fencing Awards continue to recognise the exceptional standards, innovation and professionalism that exist throughout the sector. From major infrastructure and security projects to domestic installations, agricultural fencing, apprentices, suppliers and individuals making a lasting contribution to the industry, the awards celebrate excellence in all its forms.

The 2026 Awards Feature Categories Covering:

• Highways & Railways
• Supplier of the Year
• Project of the Year
• Apprentice of the Year

The AFI is also continuing to invite nominations for the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising those whose dedication and commitment have helped shape the fencing industry over many years.

This year’s awards promise to be the biggest yet. Taking place on 12th November at the iconic Old Trafford, guests will enjoy a day celebrating the very best of the industry, culminating in the presentation of the 2026 awards.

Adding to the occasion, the AFI is delighted to welcome Sir Geoff Hurst as this year’s guest speaker. One of England’s greatest sporting legends, and in this World Cup year, Sir Geoff will share stories from an extraordinary career, making what is already set to be a memorable evening even more special.
