Northumberland-Based A&J Scott New Sawmill Remains Firmly on Schedule as Major Milestones Are Achieved
A&J Scott is pleased to announce the successful completion of Phase Two of its flagship Mill 10 development, with the project continuing to progress on schedule.
The latest phase has seen the completion of the foundations for the new sawline, together with the steel framework for the drop sorter, marking another significant milestone in the construction of the state-of-the-art sawmill.
With the civil engineering works continuing to advance as planned, the next stage of the project will begin in September, when the first items of machinery are due to arrive on site ahead of installation.
The Mill 10 investment represents one of the largest developments in A&J Scott’s history and will significantly enhance production efficiency, increase capacity and support the company’s long-term commitment to supplying high-quality, homegrown timber products to customers across the UK.
